Quantum Ready: Shaping Careers in a Transformative World
"Quantum Ready" is a long-term training for trainers (LTToT) that demystifies quantum technologies, AI, automation, and digital industries—focusing on what they mean for future jobs and how youth workers and educators can guide young people to navigate (and shape) these changes. Rather than diving into technical math, the course translates complex topics into clear, ethical, and inclusive conversations you can take back to your classrooms, youth centres, and communities. The training aims to bridge the gap between current education systems and the demands of tomorrow's workforce, addressing widespread concerns that new technologies may not lead to better job opportunities or fair distribution of benefits.

About the training
"Quantum Ready" is a long-term training for trainers (LTToT) that demystifies quantum technologies, AI, automation, and digital industries—focusing on what they mean for future jobs and how youth workers and educators can guide young people to navigate (and shape) these changes. Rather than diving into technical math, the course translates complex topics into clear, ethical, and inclusive conversations you can take back to your classrooms, youth centres, and communities.
What you'll gain
- A solid, non-technical understanding of quantum tech and the wider digital transformation—and why they matter for employability.
- Practical methods to bridge the gap between traditional education and tomorrow's job market.
- Tools to facilitate career guidance, upskilling, and ethical discussions on tech's impact (from AI displacement fears to fair access).
- A European network to co-create follow-up actions and support young people with confidence.
Who should apply
Formal and non-formal educators, youth workers, youth leaders, social workers, and staff from NGOs or education institutions—especially those involved in career guidance, digital literacy, and skills development.
Overall Course Philosophy:
- No Heavy Math: Use analogies, visualisations, and conceptual explanations.
- Focus on "Why": Why do we need quantum computing? What problems can it solve?
- Hands-On (Virtually): Incorporate simple quantum circuit simulators for demos.
- Manage Expectations: Continuously emphasise that this is a young, evolving field, not a magic bullet.
